About Laintas

Laintas was founded and is led by lin7c, an independent developer. For years lin7c has focused on a single question: what every kind of tool could become in the age of AI — what AI can do on people’s behalf, how it should work alongside them, and where its limits should lie.

Each current project is part of that exploration. Laintas CLI lets agents work in a real terminal. Helpwo brings them into the browser and onto your own machine. Laintas Search gives them a dependable source of information. Laintas Scene lets several AIs hold a discussion the way real people do.

The long-term goal is to build the foundational framework for a world with AGI: stable identity, memory, tools, collaboration and billing for intelligent agents, so that general-purpose intelligence can run safely on open, verifiable infrastructure.

laintas.com is where every official Laintas project is released. Accounts, top-ups and memberships, documentation, release notes and support tickets all live here; each project runs on its own subdomain and shares the same Laintas account.

Laintas projects are, to a large extent, created and run by AI: code, documentation, interfaces and operations — even the website you are reading — are mostly produced by AI under the developer’s direction and review. That is part of the exploration itself: finding out first-hand how far AI can take a real product.

It also means Laintas may have problems, errors and mistakes of every kind — bugs, inaccurate wording, billing anomalies, or oversights we have not noticed yet. We acknowledge this fully and correct what we find, without evasion or excuses.

If you spot a problem, please tell us as soon as you can. Every report is taken seriously, and fixes are published in our release notes.

Generative AI has real effects on society. For AI-generated content, and for the people who use these capabilities, we commit to the following:

• Traceable generation

  We only use AI generation APIs that can be traced. Every generation maps to a specific model service and call record — never to an interface of unknown origin.

• Accountable usage

  Every call is recorded with its account, product and time, so that any problem can be traced back to its source.

• Preventing abuse

  Accounts, usage limits and content filtering keep these capabilities from being misused. Use that is unlawful, fraudulent, harassing or harmful to others leads to the account being restricted or closed.

• Honest labelling

  We say clearly which content is AI-generated, and never present AI output as human work.

We comply with applicable laws and regulations, and will keep improving these measures as the technology and the rules evolve.
