Scope and acceptance
These terms cover laintas.com, the Laintas account system, hosted Laintas products and their APIs. By accessing or using the services, you agree to these terms, the Privacy Notice, the Billing and Refund Policy, and any product-specific rules expressly referenced. Self-hosted open-source code is also governed by the licence in its repository. More specific product terms control if they conflict with these general terms.
Accounts, eligibility and security
You must provide accurate account information and have legal capacity to accept these terms. If you act for an organisation, you confirm that you may bind it. Protect passwords, verification codes, sessions, API keys and CLI credentials, and do not share them to bypass allowances or access controls. Contact us promptly about unauthorised access. You are responsible for authorised activity under your account except where applicable law provides otherwise.
Services and product boundaries
Laintas currently provides experimental or production digital services including AI Agents, a web IDE, terminal agents, web search, content tools and financial analysis. Products differ in storage, models, pricing, allowances and availability; consult the pricing page, product interface and documentation. Hosted and self-hosted versions may use different features, model weights or infrastructure.
Your inputs, content and outputs
As between you and Laintas, you retain rights in prompts, code, files and other content you submit. You grant Laintas a non-exclusive permission limited to what is necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the service you request. You must have the right to submit that content and must not upload unlawful, infringing, malicious or unnecessarily sensitive material. Model output may not be unique and may resemble output provided to others. Review accuracy, permissions and security before using, publishing or executing it.
AI and financial-analysis notice
AI may produce incorrect, incomplete, outdated or unsafe content and must not be treated as an unreviewed source of fact. The services do not provide investment, securities, tax or legal advice and do not promise returns. You must exercise independent judgement and accept the risk of acting on output. Do not use the services for automated decisions requiring licensed professional judgement or directly affecting personal safety without qualified human oversight.
Acceptable use
To protect users, third parties and infrastructure, you must not:
- violate law, sanctions, export controls, intellectual property, privacy or other legal rights;
- distribute malware, phishing, fraud, harassment, hate, exploitation or clearly unlawful content;
- access, scan, attack or interfere with accounts, networks, models, APIs or services without authorisation;
- bypass billing, rate limits or security controls, create fake accounts at scale, or share or resell access;
- impersonate others, conceal automated activity, or use the service for misleading profit or financial claims.
Allowances, APIs and fair use
Metered calls are charged against account balance or product Credits. Subscription allowances apply only to the products, period and call types shown in the product interface. Unused monthly allowances do not convert to cash or roll over unless expressly stated. Automation that consumes disproportionate resources or threatens stability may be throttled, suspended or required to change. Tokens must not be shared to pool or evade limits.
Payment, subscriptions and taxes
Prices use the currency shown at checkout. Account balance, metered calls, automatically renewing PayPal subscriptions, and one-time 30-day access bought with crypto or balance follow different rules. Review the item, amount, payment method and renewal behaviour before paying. Processors may charge network, conversion or handling fees. Taxes are borne by the party responsible under applicable law. See the Billing and Refund Policy for settlement, cancellation and refund details.
Third-party services and open source
Authentication, email, payment, analytics, cloud storage, code hosting, model or search features may rely on third parties. Their own terms and privacy rules apply, and Laintas does not control their networks, account reviews, exchange rates or availability. Open-source components remain subject to their licences. Laintas marks, site design and non-public hosted infrastructure remain owned by their respective rights holders.
Suspension, termination and export
You may stop using the services and cancel auto-renewal. We may restrict or suspend affected accounts or functions for security risk, fraud, illegality, material breach, payment disputes or conduct that endangers others, and will explain the reason and appeal route when reasonably possible. Export data you need before termination. Browser-local, self-hosted and third-party cloud data may not be controlled by Laintas. Unused balance and paid amounts are handled under the Billing and Refund Policy and applicable law.
Availability, changes and responsibility
Services are provided as available and experimental features may be interrupted, changed or retired. We work to maintain security and continuity but do not promise error-free operation, permanent storage, accurate output or fitness for a specific purpose. Material pricing or policy changes affecting paid access will be disclosed where practical and normally apply to future periods. To the extent permitted by law, each party is responsible only for reasonably foreseeable direct loss. Nothing excludes consumer rights, personal injury, fraud or other liability that cannot legally be limited.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms for product, legal or security changes and will show the revision date. Material changes will be communicated through the service or account email where reasonable. Continued use after the change means acceptance unless applicable law requires separate consent. Contact the address below about these terms, restrictions or rights requests.
Contact and requests
Contact us from the account email and include the relevant order ID or request scope. Never send passwords, verification codes, full card numbers, seed phrases or private keys.
