01
Items and the nature of balance
Balance is a USD-denominated prepayment record for supported functions, not a bank deposit, interest-bearing investment or general cash-withdrawal facility. A top-up is not a membership purchase. Membership, product Credits, traffic, storage, rental and Issues have different scopes. Top-ups, earnings, grants and compensation have different sources; earnings or grants are not automatically refundable as an original-channel top-up. Legal character and refund duties depend on the transaction and applicable law, not labels excluding prepayment protections.
02
Amounts, exchange, tax and delivery
Check the item, amount, currency, billing unit, term, one-time or renewal status, and separately stated processing fees and tax. Main-site prices generally use USD; WeChat shows CNY at checkout’s rate. Processing fees are not credited balance. Issuer, currency, cross-border and network fees follow their actual provider. A redirect or closed page does not prove failure; retain references and reconcile before repaying. Digital services have no physical shipping. Delivery is evidenced by credited balance, activated access or completed tasks as applicable.
03
Membership periods, changes and attached add-ons
Monthly renewing subscriptions follow the channel’s monthly billing schedule. One-time balance and similar plans generally last 30 days; one-time annual access lasts 365 days, with credits issued and reset periodically, not all at once. Upgrades, downgrades, repeat purchases, expiry and used allowance follow confirmation and account documentation; confirm the difference and effective time. Independent Market packs differ from membership-attached add-ons. Pausing allowance use does not pause membership time or channel renewal.
04
Renewal authority, reminders and cancellation
PayPal and card subscriptions through Paddle, Creem or Dodo renew as confirmed at checkout and can be cancelled through available Laintas or processor controls. New balance memberships default to no balance renewal; if selected, the next period uses the applicable renewal rate. Current reminders are three days ahead and insufficient funds can retry for seven days. Retry does not extend paid access and adding funds may trigger retry. Independent Market packs default off. Crypto and WeChat one-time plans and one-time annual access do not themselves authorise renewal. Existing valid authorisations must be disabled or separately changed. Cancel before the next billing date to stop future renewal, normally without reversing an ongoing period. Uninstalling, signing out or non-use does not cancel.
05
Usage, holds and overage
Models meter actual usage at valid rates and may hold the maximum possible charge before settling and releasing the difference. Interrupted unsettled calls follow recorded progress; holds without valid consumption must be released. Membership covers only specified products and types. Unused periodic allowance does not default to cash, transfer or rollover. Balance overage is a separate switch that may currently default on for an account; review it in the console. Turning it off refuses covered overage instead of charging balance. It is not renewal authority. Rentals, Issues and other excluded items follow their own charges.
06
Refund grounds and priority
R1 is ordinary self-service refund of unused top-up balance. R2 duplicate or missing payments, R3 attributable non-delivery and R4 statutory rights go through support review. R2–R4 and other legally required remedies take priority over ordinary non-refund language, self-service frequency, channel windows and item restrictions. Those exceptions apply even to memberships and add-ons that generally lack discretionary personal-reason refunds. Validly delivered usage generally is not refunded; a ledger consumption label does not prevent review of error, duplication or failed delivery.
- R1 Unused balance: balance from a top-up that has not been used, returned under this policy within the request window.
- R2 Duplicate charge or missing credit: the same order was charged twice, or a successful payment was never credited.
- R3 Service not delivered: a persistent Laintas-attributable failure made the paid service unusable and it could not reasonably be fixed.
- R4 Statutory right: a refund required by consumer-protection law that applies to you.
07
Ordinary self-service limits and risk review
The X grounds below verify, defer or decline ordinary R1 self-service requests; they do not extinguish statutory rights. Suspected unauthorised payment or fraud requires payer and risk verification, possible deferral or provider dispute handling, not automatic platform ownership. Account breach does not forfeit all unrelated balance. Where refund is legally due but the original route fails, a lawful feasible alternative must be addressed. Decisions state grounds and evidence or appeal routes; declined holds return to the account or resolve the related payment dispute.
- X1 Insufficient evidence: the payment proof does not match the order record, or the payment could not be attributed to this account.
- X2 Invalid payout details: the receiving address, network or coin does not meet the requirements, so the refund cannot be sent safely.
- X3 Payment dispute: a dispute or chargeback was opened on this payment with the provider or card issuer; the dispute outcome decides it.
- X4 Risk review: suspected unauthorised payment, fraud or related misuse may defer ordinary self-service while the lawful payer and route are verified; this does not automatically forfeit funds or exclude statutory refunds.
- X5 Original method unavailable: the payment provider refused or no longer supports refunding this payment, and no other method was agreed.
- X6 Outside ordinary R1: membership or add-ons, validly consumed balance, or the ordinary window has passed; non-delivery, billing errors and R2–R4 are handled separately.
08
R1 channel scope, windows and fees
This table describes ordinary self-service unused-top-up policy, measured from payment, without shortening statutory claim periods. Card channels currently require a wholly unused top-up and return the whole payment; other listed routes refund the unused part of that top-up. Allocation of consumption must be supported by the ledger and can be reconciled with support. Legally required return of tax, fees or the full price is not excluded by the ordinary table.
| Channel | Ordinary window | Scope | Ordinary fees | Route and issuer |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| PayPal | 180 days | Unused top-up part | Separately stated checkout fee normally retained; no refund fee | Original PayPal account; Hubei Laintas Technology Co., Ltd. |
| WeChat Pay | 365 days | Unused part, proportionate to original CNY paid | Separately stated checkout fee normally retained; no refund fee | Original WeChat route; Hubei Laintas Technology Co., Ltd. |
| Paddle / Creem / Dodo | 180 days | Whole, completely unused top-up | Processing fee and tax returned with whole payment | Original card; merchant of record identified in the order |
| Crypto | 365 days | Unused part; original transaction hash required | Ordinary checkout fee retained; actual payout network fee deducted | Own address, USDC/USDT; Laintas receiving wallet |
09
On-chain refunds
Ordinary on-chain refunds use a nominal one USDC/USDT per internally recorded USD, without guaranteeing a permanent market peg. Actual payout network fees are deducted; current references are USDC · Base $0.01; USDC · Arbitrum $0.02; USDC · Ethereum $1.00; USDT · TRON (TRC20) $4.00; USDT · Ethereum $1.00; USDT · BNB Chain $0.05, with actual fees and hashes on the receipt. If an estimate is unacceptable or a fee cap is needed, contact support before submission for an alternative; this is not unlimited fee authority. Verify your controlled address, coin, network and original proof. Sent transfers are generally irreversible. Availability depends on region and law, not merely a visible payment button.
10
Requests, holds, records and timing
Submit R1 under Settings → Refunds after checking amounts and fees and expressly accepting refund agreement 2026-10-25.2. The system records version, confirmation time, IP and necessary evidence. A request covers that top-up’s entire refundable remainder. Self-service currently allows one request per account every seven days; a related unresolved provider dispute can defer it. Contact support for R2–R4, unauthorised payments or further evidence, outside ordinary interface limits. Funds are held against double spending; contact support if self-withdrawal is unavailable. Eligible unused non-crypto requests may process automatically; others generally take one to three business days for review. Evidence, complexity and posting can take longer, with status communicated.
11
Decisions, chargebacks, termination and unperformed access
Notices and receipts should state the case, grounds, version, amounts, deductions and actual channel reference; statutory treatment must not mechanically apply X grounds. Actual providers or banks control posting. Avoid double recovery of the same amount after refund, without barring lawful disputes, complaints or proceedings. Holds and reversals should be limited to related orders and necessary scope. Address renewal, unfinished tasks, rentals, balance and exports before closure. Retirement or inability to perform requires contract- and law-based treatment of unperformed access and prepayments, not blanket refusal because the service is digital.
12
Records for billing review
For a billing question, provide available request or task IDs, time, selected source, funding source, quoted screens and disputed amount. We should reconcile applicable rates, valid input/output or other units, holds, settlement, refunds and relevant retries, explaining unavailable records and why. You need not disclose complete secrets to prove a debit. Upstream usage can be evidence, but inconsistent, duplicate or undelivered records remain reviewable; upstream billing alone does not establish every user charge. An estimate, processing state or hold is not final consumption.
13
Cancellation, failure and refund distinctions
Cancelling next-period renewal ordinarily leaves the paid current period available until expiry without automatically refunding it. Disabling balance overage does not cancel membership. Stopping an agent or rental addresses its future work, with earlier valid usage settled separately. Disliking a completed metered result differs from technical failure to deliver what was agreed; promises, content and cause matter. Releasing an unused hold is not a bonus, and correcting a duplicate debit does not allow double recovery. All examples preserve R2–R4 and mandatory rights.
14
Renewal cancellation, retries and errors
Check platform state and channel confirmation after cancelling. If inconsistent, supply cancellation time, subscription ID and receipt for review; a synchronisation delay does not establish validity of later charges. After balance renewal is disabled, an earlier failed retry must not start a newly unauthorised period. Already paid or validly accrued periods and ongoing metered tasks are treated separately. Price changes affecting renewal require appropriate notice and an opportunity to cancel; where renewed confirmation is needed, an old switch does not replace it. Alerts and insufficient-funds retries are not unlimited spending authority.
15
Refund allocation, holds and reconciliation
Refundable amounts should distinguish original deposits, consumption, task income, grants and earlier refunds, with the allocation record explained. Historical entries must not be arbitrarily changed to defeat a refund. Refund holds, payment-risk freezes and ordinary request reservations have different purposes and identifiable cases and states. Concurrent refunds and payment disputes can justify necessary pauses against double payment, with an explained process and no indefinite unexplained freeze of unrelated balance. Provide a checkable reference for bank or blockchain delays; an internal button state alone does not establish completed payment.
16
Fees, taxes and other remedies
Payment processing fees, network costs, Issues platform fees and internal dispute fees are distinct items, not an unexplained cumulative handling charge. Reconcile disclosed and actually applicable items. Legally refundable prices and fees remain outside ordinary discretionary limits. Contractual and legal remedies can include delivery, correction, damages and complaints; accepting an ordinary refund does not itself waive unrelated rights. Account restrictions, organisation closure, account deletion and product discontinuation require outstanding obligations to be addressed, with a request channel despite lost login access.
